This is my latest design. A good friend, Keith Seidel, saddle maker extraordinaire, built me a saddle in trade for a pool table. This is what he got. The hand cut steel panels are backlit and tell a story in pictures of a cowboy way of life most people only dream about. A few lucky ones are still out there and it was them I was thinking of when I built this. The top rails are walnut, the apron frames are maple and the log work is spruce.
It is an original design for sure, just like every table I build. Mark Downing get the credit for the hand cut panels he does with a scroll saw (see below). He is a fantastic craftsman. I can draw up whatever you want and he can cut it out, making your table as original as this one or you can order yours just like the picture.
Take the original, take the old way.
