This design takes the standard for excellence in Timber tables to a whole new level. The wood itself came as 10" x 12" beams which were preserved from an old Amish barn out in Pennsylvania.  All the milling, lathe work, etc. was done by me in my shop here in Colorado. It is an original design, beautifully detailed and elegant in every way. The panels on the aprons were cut by hand, again by Mark Downing. The oak carvings were done by Dave Murphy, my brother; also by hand. I turned the little acorns that are the finials. I can select whatever wood you want, just remember that some of the antique woods are expensive and may require an upgrade charge. If ever a family heirloom was made from barn wood, this is it
